Our Original Uniform

Our original uniform and Logo were designed by one of our founder members, George Kilkie, pictured here on the left wearing the jacket and tie.

Besides having obvious artistic talents, George also sings solos with the choir and plays the accordion in our small instrumental group. He was, in his younger days, five times All Ireland champion Irish dancer and now has returned to the stage in our local Feis to accompany dancers in the competitions he once dominated.

On the left below is the logo as it looks on our jacket. On the right a picture of the celtic design George produced for the ladies’ dresses. He is justly proud of his work.

You can see our original uniform in the two photos below taken at the ecumenical Blessing of the Boats service in association with the R.N.L.I., which is held annually on Inch Pier, Lough Swilly, Co Donegal.
